ABOUT THE MILE
The Houston Jets Fans fan club was founded by Alexis Geppner in October 2011 through the site Meetup.com after huddling around a small television for 4 weeks without sound was no longer appealing. Since 2011, the group has more than 250 members on Meetup and has branched out to Facebook, Instagram, and now it’s forever home at houstonjetsfans.com. Our logo was designed by fellow HJF member Washington Revelo, who is an owner of 3 successful Houston-area Latin lounges.
HJF is described as family and a “home-away-from-home,” which was Alexis' goal all along.
Alexis has been able to collaborate with other NY Jets Fan Club chapter leaders, attended the
2018 draft, organized tailgates in Houston in 2015 and 2021, and is excited for the 2022-23 season. She's planning to attend games in Denver, Green Bay, and NY this season.

A passionate Jet fan who's fandom started as a child from her mom and increased as a teenager. She joined the NY-NY Jets Fans meetup group in college where she joined other fans in the city. She moved to Houston in 2011.
Outside of the group, Alexis is a practicing PA in the Texas Medical Center where she is passionate about her patients, her colleagues, and her field of medicine.

A sports junkie who's allegiance to
the Jets took flight when they hosted training camp at SUNY Cortland, which was close to her hometown
of Corning, NY. This will be her sixth season with the Houston Jets Fans - you can catch her on game days with her signature "D-Fence" sign.

A native New Yorker and passionate fan of both the Jets and Mets. Sylvia has been a member of the Houston chapter since 2015. In her spare time, she is an active member of her community's HOA and is a Captain and Chute Club at the HLSR. She is also a member of Star Security at the Pasadena Rodeo. First Downs are never the same without her!
